    The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is a voluntary Federally-funded program that provides meal reimbursement for serving nutritious meals and snacks to eligible participants in child care centers, family day care homes, Head Start programs, afterschool programs, emergency homeless shelters and adult day care centers. The Child Care Health Program offers health promotion and disease prevention services to child care facilities throughout Seattle and King County including onsite consultation about health policies, immunizations, communicable disease control, nutrition, child development and child behavioral issues.
